DESCRIPTION:

The Lotus Notes to SharePoint Migration Developer will be part of a team involved with migrating existing Lotus Notes applications to SharePoint, thus a key function will be to understand workflow and functionality as they exist in Notes and then to design and develop a similar or better solution in the target application

- Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts, software architects and IT consultants to implement solutions in SharePoint, Exchange, .NET, JavaScript and web technology solutions

- Work with the BA in gathering and documenting business processes and requirements

- Assisting with architecting the CRM system, related customizations and reports that model the client’s organizational process

- Creating data migration and integration mappings

- Participating in informal or formal design and architecting sessions with the development team

- Support the application post go-live during system setting and fix applications issues not necessarily related to code

 

SKILLS:

 

- 5+ years in software development with experience in Microsoft SharePoint

- Lotus Notes experience

- Demonstrated proficiency in understanding and implementing business workflows and processes

- Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes

- Writing technical specifications for planned work

- College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

- Experience working on an agile development team
