DESCRIPTION:
The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Consultant is responsible for planning and delivering change management strategies and plans supporting the successful change delivery of projects that fall under the scope of the Technology Strategy Program.  Projects within the Technology Strategy include, but are not limited to; ITIL Processes, Managed Services transition, embedding Enhanced Agile Practices, enabling advanced Data & Analytics capabilities, Target Operating Models, Organizational Design, Learning and Development and Currency Management.

 

This is a senior role, requiring an individual with deep experience in successfully supporting large scale, transformational change. The individual will play a key role in ensuring projects and change initiatives meet desired business outcomes. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Senior OCM Consultant will work with Project Managers and Senior Stakeholders in identifying people, organizational, process and technology impacts and develop a plan based on change management methodology to implement change management strategies, plans, and recommendations.  Depending on the nature and scale of change the Senior OCM Consultant may be directly responsible for execution or support of execution.

- Help to define and understand how work may change, impacts on stakeholders and barriers that must be overcome (including any behavioral shifts required)

- Complete Change Management Assessments, (diagnostic tools, surveys, small groups) and help the project understand the outputs and key implications

- Create actionable Change Management deliverables, including Change Strategy and Plans, Communications plan, Training plan, and Sustainability plan

- Work with project teams to integrate change management activities into project plan

- Project Communications

- Identifying opportunities for skill and knowledge transfer to enhance and build internal capabilities

 

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor’s Degree

- OCM designation is an asset

- 7+ years experience in OCM Organizational Change Management. 

- Previous successful experience in leading a Transformational Change program, preferably in Technology

- Understanding of Lean Process improvement methodology

- Strong facilitation skills; able to clarify and articulate issues, meeting outcomes, areas of focus; options

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to facilitate change in a highly complex environment across multiple business units.
