DESCRIPTION:
Perform workstation install, move, add, change (IMAC) related duties.

The individual will interact directly with users, internal and external support partners, and technicians, within all areas of the business to ensure that requests are handled in a timely and professional manner, with the highest quality of service.

The individual must be ready to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multi-task and adhere to strict deadlines for process deliverables. Attention to detail, punctuality, and effective communication skills are essential to this position.

 

Support technology and processes by performing install, move, add, change related duties including:

- Installing software/hardware

- Workstation lifecycle activities (Imaging PCs, asset tagging, etc)

- Performing moves of IT equipment – desktop/laptop computers, monitors, laptops, printers, phones

- New-hire technology setups

- Hardware and software support

- Responsible for coordinating, planning, scheduling and prioritizing IMAC activities, and understanding their client requirements so that the IMAC activities flow properly

- Develop & maintain desktop process documentation

- Monitor queue related for IMAC activities

- Other Duties as assigned

- Works under guidance & direction from the Team Leader on prioritization and coordination of work

- Prioritizes own work, may coordinate with others

- Availability to work after-hours, including weekends

- Able to lift up to 40 pounds

 REQUIREMENTS

- Relevant undergraduate or graduate university degree in Math/Statistics/Engineering/ Computer Science program

- Self Starter, detail-oriented, organized, and thorough

- Strong communication skills both verbal and written

- Aptitude for exceptional customer service, including a go-getter attitude and professionalism with a sense of urgency to provide timely service to our customers

- Ability to work with minimum supervision

- Team oriented

- Experience working in an ITIL Incident Management environment - an asset

- Service Now experience - an asset

- MCSE – an asset
