Description
The Technical Delivery Lead will oversee AI‑driven technology initiatives supporting procurement, RFP processes, and digital solutions such as Conga. This role ensures strategic alignment, compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, and successful cross-functional delivery. The Lead will guide projects through planning, vendor engagement, execution, and adoption, working closely with business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead and manage AI‑focused technology projects from inception through implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, and deliverables; monitor performance to ensure on-time and on-budget execution. [
- Oversee full RFP lifecycle including requirements gathering, proposal evaluation, vendor interactions, and compliance validation.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing contingency plans to ensure continuity. Facilitate communication across internal teams and external partners, ensuring transparency, alignment, and timely decision-making.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including technical specifications, meeting minutes, status reports, and governance materials.
Technology & Process Optimization
- Integrate and optimize AI platforms and contract lifecycle management tools (e.g., Conga) to streamline procurement, compliance, and digital workflows.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to boost operational efficiency and technology adoption.
- Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory standards, data privacy requirements, and quality governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Pharmacy, Computer Science, or related field.
- Additional IT or data science certifications are an asset.
- 5–7+ years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sectors.
- Proven track record leading AI, machine learning, digital transformation, procurement technology, or RFP-driven initiatives.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical development processes, including regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar.
- Experience with Conga or similar contract lifecycle management (CLM) and digital workflow systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex cross-functional projects and multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

- Exposure to AI/ML applications in the pharmaceutical industry, or operational process automation.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive innovation and adoption of emerging technologies.
- Familiarity with ethics, governance, and data privacy considerations in AI-driven healthcare initiatives.
