Seeking a Contract Administrator to join the Enterprise IT Vendor Management team and play a key role in ensuring the IT contracts deliver maximum value, compliance, and performance.
This position is a 3-6 month contract-to-hire opportunity, offering the potential for transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
Position Summary
The Contract Administrator is responsible for managing the full contract lifecycle, ensuring that vendor agreements are clear, compliant, and aligned with business and operational priorities. The ideal candidate is highly detail‑oriented, analytical, and skilled at managing relationships across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Administration
- Draft, review, redline, negotiate, and finalize IT vendor contracts
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal standards, and risk guidelines
Dispute & Risk Management
- Identify contractual risks, liabilities, and gaps
- Manage amendments, change requests, and issue resolution
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with Legal, Finance, Compliance, BU leaders, and IT Service Areas
- Translate business requirements into accurate contractual terms
- Maintain strong, effective cross-functional relationships
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain contract and supplier performance reporting
- Support KPI tracking, supplier scorecards, and performance insights
Continuous Improvement
- Review and refine document templates and processes
- Recommend workflow improvements or automation opportunities
- Support a culture of efficiency and consistency within the VMO
Qualifications
Experience and Skills
- 5+ years of experience in IT contract management or a related role
- Strong understanding of contract language, compliance, and risk
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage vendor performance and enforce SLAs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities
- Proficiency with MS Office; experience with contract management tools preferred
- Project management experience with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field
- Experience working within an IT Vendor Management Office
