DESCRIPTION:
-
- Design and implement robust solutions for re-pointing C# .NET applications from Oracle to Snowflake, encompassing data access layer modernization and performance tuning for the new data platform.
- Execute the migration of Oracle to PostgreSQL, concurrently transforming and migrating Oracle PL/SQL routines to Snowflake, addressing technical challenges to maintain data consistency and application compatibility.
- With supervision and code/design reviews by senior staff, responsible for the timely completion of high-quality, well-designed and well-architected systems that make appropriate use of technology.
- Responsible for the completion of an acceptable volume of work and for the communication of the status of personal work plans and tasks required to design, develop, and test the assigned portion of projects.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent working experience
• Strong knowledge of information systems theories concepts and techniques
• Strong organizational analytical and problem solving skills
• 7 plus years hands on software design and development experience including substantial expertise with the following
• Dot Net and Dot Net Core
• C Sharp SQL Python
• Front end frameworks such as React or Angular
• Relational databases with specific experience in Oracle and PostgreSQL
• Multi threading programming
• Strong knowledge of Azure cloud including Azure Kubernetes Service AKS Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Key Vault
• Experience using AI assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot Cursor or similar
