DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Salesforce Data Migration QA Engineer to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and quality of data migrated into Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data validation, QA methodologies, and hands-on experience with Salesforce data structures and tools.
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for validating data migration from legacy systems to Salesforce.
- Perform data quality checks, reconciliation, and validation using tools such as Excel, SQL, and Salesforce reports.
- Collaborate with data migration teams to understand mapping documents, transformation rules, and migration scripts.
- Validate data integrity across Salesforce objects (e.g., Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Custom Objects).
- Identify and document data discrepancies, defects, and inconsistencies, and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
- Perform post-migration validation and regression testing to ensure system stability and data accuracy.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test data and assisting business users in validation.
- Maintain detailed documentation of test results, issues, and QA sign-off reports
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5+ years of QA experience
- 2+ years focused on Salesforce data migrations
- Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, relationships, and object
- Proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
