💝 Happy Valentine’s Day 🌹
Wishing my clients, candidates, and professional friends a Happy Valentine’s Day! Valentine’s Day has a special place in my heart as it brings back fond memories of my entrepreneurial mother, Vonna Walsh. My Mom was a successful florist in Moncton, New Brunswick. She owned two shops, Flower World on St George Street and one inside the Moncton Hospital. She always had to have plenty of inventory of #1 long-stemmed red roses on February 14th. Heaven forbid couples would hold a wedding on Valentine’s Day, OMG! Now that I run my own business as a recruiter, I can relate to my Mom’s life as a florist. Of course, the busiest day of the year for a florist is Mother’s Day.
So, this year, I want to send love to all my cherished people. May you take time today to smell the roses, be grateful and say, “I love you.”
